This book is excellently written, right-to-the-point (and a large number of points are made). It is designed as a spiritual aid for on retreat, and can be read with profit by laymen as well. Of particular to laymen is Father Rhin's treatment of the bad translations that on to English-speaking Catholics over hundreds of years.
