KIRKUS REVIEW

W, ""front man"" of a newspaper assigned to handle its screwball complainants, is murdered and prospective suspects among a group of crackpots lead to process-of-elimination sleuthing by city editor, and the police. A homicidal maniac, a cat lover, a sex hater, inventors and reformers provide question-and-answer material until a second murder exposes the killer. Save for the crackpot catechism, which is sometimes amusing, this is routine.
