KIRKUS REVIEW

A good mystery story with credible situations and characters, and a background of contemporary life on a sea island plantation. ""Fast and exciting from beginning to end, with good suspense and realization"" reports a thirteen year old. Madge has had a large household thrust upon her on her return from boarding school, and mysterious intruders in an island cave precipitate further complications, which event-tually she and her brothers investigate -- and after many adventures -- solve satisfactorily.
