SMALL BUSINESS AND VENTURE CAPITAL

In view of the place in discussion that the future of small business is taking, this should prove timely as an informative handbook on this major problem facing our national economy. The author provides concrete proposals for economic provision of equity capital. He analyzes the role of small business in the survival of our middle class. He bases his data on T.N.E.C. hearings and study. He defines terms -- annual sales volume -- cost tests, etc. He feels that small business, to survive, must justify its place, its importance in the development of new products. Congressional plans for small business are weighed, and he urges the creation of a federal investment corporation. A book for a very definite market -- not for the general public.
