BILL, THE BROADBILL SWORDFISH

By

Publisher: Coward, McCann

Lynn Bogue Hunt, whose sporting pictures are usually so fine and beautiful, has done these illustrations which are funny but not quite enough so. The book may have an adult sporting sale, so try it out. Bill, a young swordfish, leaves the French Biviara, with his parents. They come over and try living off Montauk, enjoy the music from the Maidstone at Easthampton, go down to Cat Cay, then through the canal to Chilean Waters. All is true, except the Panama trip, and will teach readers the habits of swordfish, their dread of the mako shark, their attendant suckerfish, fear of food used as and so forth. The last page has a list of swordfish facts.
