A first (very) novel, a serious, soul searching story of a young man and woman who want to love ideally, but feel that they can't. All done up with a lot of paper conflicts, psychological peripatetics, and many high-sounding voids. Through many brooding moods comes the story of two lovers, tormenting themselves with ideas about differences in social background, the reconciliation of sex and ideal love, and so on. Finally, they reconcile their differences, agreeing that love of a woman is that ""unknown garden...of ultimate beauty"". 'Nough said?
