The contention here is that no two things are ever alike and, to prove this, author and illustrator set about showing the differences in umbrellas, hats and wheels. From parachutes to parasols, from bowler derbies to high silk toppers, from ferris wheels to cart wheels, the evidence is all here. A concept designed to differentiate a variety of objects for young children might have been better accomplished through more graceful rhythmic and child-directed verse.
