It consists of expositions of familiar passages of Scripture such as the Lord's Prayer, the 121st Psalm, and the parable of the Prodigal Son, designed to elaborate their meaning for devotion. The author has the poetic gift which he employs most effectively in some of his expositions. It is a book to be highly recommended.
