WHO YOU'VE GOT TO KILL

In this thriller, a military trial exposes a deep-seated network of political corruption.

In Fallujah, Iraq, a squad of U.S. Marines is on a mission to clear insurgents from the local houses and businesses. The troops are suddenly ambushed and hit by an IED, killing all of the team except the captain and two privates. Three innocent civilians die in the fray, too. The FUBAR prompts an investigation into the Marines’ actions and a subsequent trial to determine if they were following commands or executing a revenge-fueled plot. When military attorney Capt. Chuck Slidell subpoenas the reluctant Gen. When he receives a letter naming some of the corrupt members, Slidell realizes just how intricate and complex the network is, with high players in politics and the judiciary. Days later, the colleague who sent the accusatory missive is found dead in a motel room. It’s no coincidence.
