KIRKUS REVIEW

Sublimated slick, in which Nancy, who is warned by her artist grandfather that she leads with her heart, decides- intelligently- to marry successful advertising man, Tom. But a holiday on the Cape, and the meeting with David Barnum and his motherless son arouses her curiosity, her too eager interference, and ends in marriage with David. It is the boy, Charles Francis, who blocks her possession of his father, who hates her for removing his father from his closest orbit, and nearly wrecking the marriage- restores it after a near-drowning. Glamour plus- and glamour puss technique.
