KIRKUS REVIEW

Chessie went over on two counts, -- the fact that it was a friendly little cat story, and the fact that many small readers accepted it as a true story of the C & O kitten. Now comes the sequel, the story of how Chessie was determined not to lose her twins, Nip and Tuck, and how she took a ride in a locomotive to prevent her small master from giving them up. Has sentimental appeal for cat lovers, but the pictures aren't up to Ruth Carroll's best, and the story is fairly routine.
