HOW NOT TO KILL YOUR WIFE

A bluff British ""family doctor"" attempts to promote greater conjugal custodial care in a book which does not have anything very advanced to say-- it's the kind of information about health and hygiene you might pick up in a magazine or over the drugstore counter. Actually husbands who have suffered through those tired days may not be very interested in all the obstetrical-gynecological detail which overwhelms other aspects; they may also not welcome the suggestion that their wives should be paid a salary for their housekeeping services, but then women will like to hear that their ""one overindulgence is work."" Dr. Hutchin also talks about arthritis, exercise, diet, insomnia, cigarettes but the informality of his approach extends to the organization of his book--- a chapter presumably about hormones is mostly about the detection of breast cancer, and then lopes off into a discussion of diabetes. How not to is for a basic how to market.
