KIRKUS REVIEW

Subtitled And Other Stories, this brings together a sampling of the author's work which has appeared in children's magazines- Story Parade, Child Life, Junior Home. Those familiar with her style will recognize them as sweet-tempered, homey stories, set in fairyland or the modern world. The title story is about a poor girl who finds a princess' slipper and is given the chance to sing; there is another about six needy children who find a way to go to the circus; A Home for Danny tells of a wandering father who finally settles down so his son can live like other boys etc., etc.
