KIRKUS REVIEW

Artist twins have a unique two years, and tell of their experiences with a certain humor and objectivity which makes for good entertainment. They go to Iraq (Persia to you) so that Ruth can marry an Englishman in business there. They run into all sorts of odd adventures and encounter all sorts of problems, --building, gardening, collecting desert pets, running a household against odds, visiting, traveling, and trying to engineer the marriage license situation. Two years of disaster -- novel experiences and home.
