CAPTAIN JEFF AND THE SQUEEZE BOX

Toys as characters in stories are unusually popular, though it seems difficult to create such a story with much claim to originality. This is a story about a marionette, and about how his accordion, a silent fake in off-stage periods, took on life and meaning when the curtain was up. The photographs are uneven in reproduction, but clever in composition.
