KIRKUS REVIEW

A helicopter home carries the Bings far on business and pleasure, and will have enormous imaginative appeal to air-minded children today. Mr. Bing, intent on selling huge quantities of Not-a-Spot soap, still has time for trout fishing with radar equipment, and for rescuing animals. In addition to its human complement, the family includes a dog, a pig, a hare, and Morning Glory, a rooster. The Bings are people of tomorrow, but their relationships and interests make them fun today. Animals plus mechanical contrivances plus humor -- and good writing- make sure appeal for young readers.
