COME TO SEE THE CLOWNS

As the publisher says, the text consists of only 81 different words; a vocabulary so controlled has resulted in a flat text which relies too heavily on senseless repetition. The pictures of clowns goofing off, and getting into difficulties, have a typicality which onlookers will enjoy; they are colorful, lively and well placed. The uninspired text is in bold, easy-to-read print.
