OLD CON AND PATRICK

When young Patrick came to live with his grandfather he was well and whole. But polio deprived the lively youngster of the use of his legs. How Old Con, Patrick and the boy's mother adjusted to the more difficult world is the subject of this story with a lesson. Patrick lives as normal a life as possible. He exploits his love for animals. One could wish for a sounder story on a handicapped child.
