A CASTLE FOR TESS

It's the first real house Tess and Randy Colclough have ever had, but with a restless father who follows his ""black moods"" in a ceaseless search for his forgotten identity, they can't hope to stay there long, until... Tess finds some old photos that look like her and father has some uncanny knowledge of the house and then up comes a photo that looks like Randy.... well you guessed it, father is the real owner of the house. The first half of the book is for the children to find out, the second half is for waiting until Mr. Colclough does. A little farfetched, but filled with musty-sweet attic trunks and secret compartments to intrigue a rainy-day reader; to be read--rapidly--curled up on a window seat on a wet afternoon--and just as rapidly forgotten.
