KIRKUS REVIEW

A cut above the average rental library item, by the author of 5:30 to Midnight (Harper) with a more conservative, more demure little renter in the story of Julie who gave up romance for science. Julie compensates heavily with a career, is sent to England, meets and marries Lyn, only to lose him shortly when he is killed in the war. She returns to America, meets Michael again, fights shy of him, but is conquered when he almost loses his life in an experiment.
