TEAPOT, SWITCHEROO, And Other Silly Word Games

Teapot and other games based on homonyms and such; stinky-pinkies using rhyme, Pig Latin, and other ""disguises""; a smattering of ciphers, palindromes, scrambles, and so on: Tremain starts the games off with some nifty examples, throws in some notes on word derivations (soccer, sandwich), and generally continues in the jaunty vein established in Fooling Around With Words (1976). Though much of this is a little beyond the usual easy-reader level, it's sure to be great fun for word hounds and a good source for classroom breaktime.
