In March Horisons Unlimited was published: now comes a companion volume, Flying Fleets. The concentration here is on naval aviation, -- the whys, wheres, hows, the challenge of vast frontiers to patrol, the importance of bases from which to operate, dramatically illustrated by maps. The types in use are defined and their functions described. Brief background of history overlaps earlier book somewhat, but is necessary to make this one complete in itself. Fine photographs follow the arrangement of the test.
