KIRKUS REVIEW

One of the dramas that comes inevitably to every toddler is engagingly explored in a straightforwardly realistic picture book. The new bed seems huge and unfriendly compared to Devin's familiar crib. But after several days of progressive familiarity--bouncing, picnicking, playing with friends, lining up his legions of stuffed toys on the bed--Devin inadvertently falls asleep and naps on it; and when a second Monday rolls around, he's ready to part with the crib. The reassuring text is enhanced by Oz's lively drawings, washed in cheerfully bright colors. Devin's toddler friends are a merry crew, busily engaged in a variety of imaginative activities. Pleasant for lap or group sharing.
