This is one of Sally Scott's best stories and as real and rough as the boys in it. Older and younger brother, Jason and Timmy come close to hating each other's guts until a Saturday morning's play straightens things out for them. When Jason escapes from his house to meet his gang with a new wooden gun he's built, they are at a loss as to how to carry it until one of the others boys suggests Timmy's new wagon. Jason thinks that's out of the question, but is resigned to it as the only possibility. When it works and Timmy proves himself a regular guy Jason has sense enough to realize that a new friend has been found.
