MR. DOODLE

Just the right book for a boy who loves dogs, for Mr. Doodle is always in wrong, no matter how hard he tries to do the right thing. When the family moves away, Peter, aged 8, hears they are looking for a home for Mr. Doodle, and begs for him. With Peter, Mr. Doodle does everything right, and gets all the love he craves besides. Good print, and vocabulary, and pictures by Beth Krush, in black and white, that are lively, -- all make this an enticement for the young reader.
