Authenticity charges this simple story of one famous rodeo horse's refusal to be ridden. Midnight was a horse who couldn't accept the thesis that the Horse is man's faithful servant. He believed that ""man's place was on the ground"": in truth he had dedicated his life to keeping him there. Midnight's bucking career is presented through the eyes of three famous bronc riders -- Jim McNab, Verne Elliot and Pete Knight. Sam Savitt has style both as artist and writer.
