KIRKUS REVIEW

Lt. Darson ( West 1961) travels a rough road when a new school in a housing development has an explosion in the basement. Again he bucks politics, and he tracks down kidnaping, blackmail and more bombs while tangling with a Congressman and departmental superiors. Better housing and business too are part of a logical -- if farfetched wind up. No stand out but solid sleuthing.
