DEATH CRIES IN THE STREET

By

Publisher: Rinehart

Crime and violence, backgrounded by a detailed closeup of the machinery of the drug traffic, and a glimpse of diamond smuggling, along New York's waterfront. The solution is deviously arrived at by Homicide, in the person of Abe Larson, whose own embittered outlook brooked no interference, and his chief, Tormel, who hated Abe. It starts with a battered corpse on 23rd Street -- and there are successive violent deaths, most of them stemming back to a drug crazed ex-fighter and his mentor and procurer who wields a horrid power. Rugged.
