NEW ENGLAND DOORWAYS

We are pushovers for this series of American Landmarks, and this one is useful as well as ornamental (that is for anyone with a doorway project in the back of the mind). For here they are, doorways from every corner of New England, and through text and pictures, Chamberlain manages to teach a vast amount of the background and history and influences in American Colonial architecture. A beautiful book.
