THE COAST OF MAINE

Another volume of photographic gems, interpreting- this time- the spirit of the coast of Maine. Lovely as it is, somehow it doesn't strike quite such a characteristic and individual note as Lexington and Concord. New England Doorways and several of the others. Perhaps he has selected less original bits of landscape and architecture; but it seems interpretative of the picturesque rather than the characteristically rugged and sturdy aspects.
