DRAW NEAR WITH FAITH

As Headmaster of St. Paul's School, Concord, Dr. Drury is well known in the educational field; as Rector of the most famous church-school in this country he is known to the clergy and churchmen. His supreme gift, however, centers in his influence over his pupils and the persuasiveness of his spiritual message. To those outside the Episcopal Church and many within, the Holy Communion is a mystery, if not entirely meaningless, in spite of the fact that it is considered the most important sacrament. Dr. Drury writes simply and sincerely taking into consideration the stumbling blocks that prevent our ""drawing near"", facing each problem with the sympathetic understanding that marks him as the great teacher he is. The chapter titles intrigue and the contents convince. It should become a handbook in the Episcopal Church and for Clergy. Seminaries, study and confirmation classes, those who were inadequately prepared for confirmation as well as those who would refresh their minds and spirits. A helpful, human little book with plenty of the divine.
