This is fun -- and it should have double sale, for adults and for boys and girls. In fact, sell it as a family record, of music shared and experienced. Radio, concert, phonograph -- however, wherever, whatever has been heard can be noted in a novel way. The book is first of all virtually a dictionary of musicians, composers, compositions. Some of the composers are given a few lines; some a full page; some several pages -- for data on life, works, etc. The back of the book consists of perforated stickers, the size of stamps, for little photographs, for blank stickers in colors according to a plan of dividing things heard into definite classifications, -- operas, orchestral pieces, instrumental pieces, etc. Then there is extra space for notations of impressions, dates, etc. When completed it should serve as a record and memory book of musical experience.
