KIRKUS REVIEW

Should think this would do better in parent-teacher group than in Little Theatre or Drama Groups. A series of two-act plays dealing with American history and characters, from 1753 to 1865. It includes the obvious events, -- Wolfe and Montcalm in Quebec, the Boston Tea Party, the Declaration of Independence, Nathan Hale, Daniel Boone, Clark at Vincennes, the Whiskey Rebellion, the Louisiana Purchase, Sam Houston and the Alamo, the beginning of the Civil War at Fort Sumter, Grant and Lee at Appomatox.... Simple setting, simple costuming, and handling of events not too elementary.
