KIRKUS REVIEW

An atlas and picture history of the Holy Land is a welcome addition to the Giant Golden Books and will be a boon to church groups, Sunday Schools of the Protestant denominations, and social study classes, where a new dimension is added to geography of Biblical lands. The author is the Auburn Professor of Old Testament at Union Theological Seminary and has lived in the Holy Land. The artist too has painted in the Middle East.
