DICK AND THE CANAL BOAT by Sanford Tousey

DICK AND THE CANAL BOAT

By

Publisher: Doubleday, Doran

In this series, Sanford Tousey has managed to convey a picture of different phases of American background and way of living, in a past period. In this story -- with enough action and incident to carry the factual content, he tells the story of Dick, brought up on a farm where horses and mules are raised for trade, and of how his father took him to the Erie Canal, and let him go on a canal boat (to the owner of which a tea of mules had been sold) for a trip up the Canal. Action pictures in flat colors; well-paced story. Board binding.
