Dr. Mark Sargent, psychiatrist assigned to the case of Carlotta, finds his emotions as well as his interest involved, retraces her Dickensian childhood with Aunt Sophie, is sure of her innocence and substantiates the evidence for the police. Romantic- and by all means readable.
