A FOOTING ON THIS EARTH

Sara Henderson Hay has been writing light poetry for many years which appears in many media, all the way from the daily newspapers to The New Yorker. It has an equal range from the semi-humorous to the quasi-inspirational. Most of the lyrics are pleasant, accessible, if not a little more- the casual thought, epigrammatically turned. But sometimes her muse bemuses- how about For A Spinster, Dying of Cancer of the Breast? .... On the whole, though, this is versiflage with a fair amount of technical ease.
