It follows concepts of the earlier books in concentrating on children's interests- the zoo, horn and drum, riding in a train, what we eat, planting seeds, snowflakes, making cookies, birthday, etc., etc.-; the tunes are planned for little voices; the subjects are selected for dramatic play and further lyrics; rhythm and rhythmic activity are part of the program. A pleasant complement to other song books, around the house as well as in school, for the piano parts, although not complicated, are not childish in treatment.
