KIRKUS REVIEW

Quite a remove from the long line of Fu Manchu stories- this straight find-the-killer tale. Approached by Lord Glenagle to protect his daughter, Lady Hilary, from the consequences of her association with a cad, Storm Kennedy, smooth private eye, is on hand when a party at a country house ends in murder. Lady Hilary star suspect, another killing, the reappearance of the dead man and his second killing, and assorted stumbling blocks keep Kennedy a-movering to Scotland Yard's satisfaction. Ornate.
