THE CASE OF THE SILVER SKULL

When the ""silver thieves"" he is investigating turn out to be an antique dealer and museum curator on legitimate business, Inspector Roger Tearle almost decides to retire from the boy detective business to concentrate on his egg delivery route. But the case is soon opened again after Roger overhears a suspicious conversation at the house of his egg customer Colonel Byrd, and this time it takes split second timing and State Police reinforcements to foil the robbery. Twice over lightly for Tearle's well-established Case book clientele.
