KIRKUS REVIEW

The super-sleuth, crime reporter Mr. Horace, and intrepid inspector Gidley of the Yard find secrets within secrets in unraveling an involuted yarn. It involves a beautiful and mysterious girl, her wealthy- politically successful lover, and an unscrupulous lawyer who would use her as a tool in his fortune hunting scheme- until a brilliant artist intervenes and provides the tip-off, later the slip-up. Acceptable.
