YOUR CAREER IN DEFENSE

This is based on a countrywide survey of defense industries, and should prove an adequate guide to anyone wishing immediate participation in the emergency, for it lists where available information may be found (State Employment, N. Y. A. etc.) and where training may be acquired. Also what to do for yourself, if untrained, in order to get a job. A factual book on what jobs are available, where they are located, and for whom. Chapters for the unemployed, for recent graduates, for the white collar class, factory workers, forty-and-overs, women, etc. Describes choice offered in shipyards, aircraft, metal, machine industries, ordnance arsenals, explosive plants, and government, together with blueprints for the sort of personality, traits and experience necessary, ""quickie courses"" and training courses and their duration. A useful handbook -- for schools, colleges, public libraries.
