A book of odd facts on anatomy and behavior in captivity plus some vital statistics (size, weight, longevity). While they may be interesting, these bites of information lack sources and are generally too brief to be useful: ``Some sharks will grow, use, and lose over 2,000 teeth a year.'' What kind? ``The octopus is considered as intelligent as a cat.'' By whom? Harvey's line drawings are humorous but lack sufficient detail for identification. Most useful are the addresses of conservation and educational organizations, publications, summer opportunities, and aquariums, but these won't be needed while touring an aquarium. Marginal. Index. (Nonfiction. 7-10)
