KIRKUS REVIEW

With pride in her superior knowledge, preschooler Katy explains that she knows what a series of things are really for, but baby brother Alex has other ideas: bananas are for squishing, water is for splashing, etc. The gap narrows when it comes to bubbling through a straw. Preschoolers will find the situations in Walton's first book pleasantly familiar; Westcott brings out the humor with cheerful verve.
