In legends, it is said that Japan is the humps on the back of a giant sea serpent. From this land surrounded by the sea, have risen exotic legends, many of which were influenced by the power of the sea which the Japanese people feel in their lives. Tales of magic, of sea kings, of gifted men and comical animals provide stories which are far more exotic and less well known than the English or French tales.
