KIRKUS REVIEW

Belongs to the Deeping school of fiction, a somewhat sentimental story of a weak but lovable man, whose blindness and ineffectuality appeal to the sympathies. A rather fantastic sort of Cinderella plot, with a kick back at the end, as the circle swings around. English -- slight -- a bit slow.
