Pierce, Project Mercury Director Robert Gilruth, Nobel Prize winner William Shockley- for the transistor, Harrison Storms-designer of the X-15 rocket, Malcolm Ross who has made Strato- Lab balloon ascents for the Navy, and Jack Armstrong- engaged in advancing nuclear propulsion. The predecessors will have not the pace for this new addition and indicated its interest-particularly for a young adult audience.
