A biography of Francis Marion, by the author of He Fought for Freedom (Ethan Allen). Detailed, well documented, yet full of action. Boys will like it. Definitely not for the pacifists or those who go queasy at the sight of bllod; and it is more than a little pro-American, anti-British. It is a good job, though it seemed to lack the spontaneity of the Ethan Allen book, probably because Marion was a colder and less sympathetic figure.
