LET'S HEAR A STORY

As the title implies, this is an anthology designed for the listening audience. It is compiled by a discriminating editor who has chosen some of the best contemporary stories and poems on the market. Little Toot by Hardie Gramatky, Big Talk by Miriam Schlein, The Little Fisherman by Margaret Wise Brown, Moon-Come-Out by Eleanor Farjeon, The Hatbox Cake by Miriam Clark Potter are joined by other contributions by equally tried and true modern authors. Not to be overlooked in any evaluation, are Dagmar Wilson's illustrations in black and white and one color. They are child-like without being childish. A handsome gift item.
