KIRKUS REVIEW

Jeans has a faculty for making science interesting and understandable to the layman. So much as a premise. Beyond that, one questions just how far the interest in this particular subject is spontaneous, how much inculcated by Sir James Jeans? The Jeans market will of course want this. Possibly the technical musicians, scientists working on problems of sound waves, radio scientists and electricians. Not the philosophically scientific minded, however.
